Remembrance Charity

The Salvation Army

Our chosen charity for 2017 is The Salvation Army.

“The Salvation Army are committed to transforming the lives of people within our community and play a huge part in bringing people together to join in their weekly activities, offering support to those in need. We see how hard the team work and how passionate they are in raising funds to assist the people of Keighley.”

A donation of £1,000.00 was forwarded to The Salvation Army in December 2017 in memory of all those that we cared for throughout the year.

Chris Bown commented “At The Salvation Army we are only able to continue with our work in the local community because of the generosity of supporters like David & Adele Gallagher. On behalf of everyone at the centre we would like to thank them for their wonderful donation and continuing support.”

Cheque being presented to Chris Bown of the Salvation Army by David Lawson, Suzanne Bairstow and Simon Wheeler at Airedale House.
