David Gallagher Funeral Directors opened the doors of their first property in Bradford Road, Keighley in 1993 and in May 2004, David and Adele re-located their business and home to Airedale House in Utley.
The property was a former working farm dating back to 1843 and proved to be the ideal premises. Following extensive refurbishment, the property now consists of a service chapel, comfortable arranging rooms and offices.
The location of the chapel is often one of the main reasons that their clients choose their services. They are assured that their loved ones are resting in a traditional property with modern facilities and the family are close at hand in their home next door.
Situated in Utley, the property boasts views of the Aire Valley overlooking Howden View. David, Adele and their children reside in the house attached to the business, meaning they are always available to families who require their assistance and support.
