David was very honoured to have been asked to be the President of Keighley & District Agricultural Show for 2017 and the day proved to be a huge success with the addition of the sunshine. The whole day had a great feel of community spirit and we as a Keighley business were very proud to be part of this yearly event.
David and Adele attended a presentation in Windsor and were awarded Golden Charter’s Yorkshire & East Lancashire Funeral Planner of the Year.
For many years we have supported The Danny Ryan Memorial Fund – it is always heartwarming and humbling to see such special children receive love and support every year. We are proud to be associated with this charity and pleased that Michael Devlin and Sean Gilligan have accepted our cheque of £500 which will go a small way of supporting one of their chosen children in 2018.
David is pictured presenting the winning trophy to Stewart McDonald with runner up, Ken Baker at the Worth Valley’s Foster Cup Handicap on Sunday 14th May at Highfield. We have been sponsoring the Foster Cup for 20 years and holds personal memories of David’s dad, John Gallagher, who was a member of Highfield.
